In a recent virtual award ceremony, ECHS Art Teacher Jesse Wright received his 2021 New Jersey Nonpublic Schools Teacher of the Year award. Full story here.

Wright was introduced by EC Head of School Ruth Kuder

“I have had the pleasure to work with Jesse in a variety of roles over the past 12 years. He has been a tremendous asset to the school. His ability to engage the students inside and outside of the classroom is exemplary.”

EC Head of School Emeritus Tom Dykhouse echoed these thoughts

“Jesse- we are incredibly proud of you. We’re thankful for the difference you make in the lives of our students both while they are in our halls and years after they graduate. Congratulations, and thank you for all of the contributions that you have made to our school community. This is a well deserved award.” 

EC High School Principal David Intlekofer said of Wright,

“He connects with everyone and always brags about how awesome his EC students are. His passion is contagious and we’re just extremely proud of him. It’s a pleasure and an honor to serve with him.”
